About UsWHO WE ARE HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGE Early College High School Online is a Utah public charter school that blends high school and college so that students may attain college credit at the same time as they are earning a high school diploma. Early College High School Online maintains a unique partnership with Dixie State University and Southern Utah University. Early College High School Online operates within a mature learning environment, offers a rigorous curriculum and allows students to pursue college credit within an accredited college degree-granting program. Our program is funded by the Jobs for the Future Early College High School Initiative, sponsored by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in partnership with the Carnegie Corporation of New York, The Ford Foundation, and The W.K. Kellogg Foundation. Early College High School Online provides an innovative, multidisciplinary, student-centered, flexible curriculum designed to create well-educated students with the critical skills needed for success in the global economy. Our principal mission is to improve quality and expand access to high school and college educational opportunities by providing a means for individuals to learn independent of time and place WHAT WE DO Early College High School Online opens doors to learners who lack access to great and relevant in-person education. The school provides motivated, focused, and diligent students the opportunity to attain their high school diploma and college credit towards an Associate Degree. Early College can create a more successful student and productive member of society. Early College can open more avenues and opportunities. According to the 2013 report from the American Institutes for Research, students exposed to early college had higher high school and college (4 year) graduation rates.
